This is the radio mounted outside of your house
This is a POE (Power over Ethernet, or power injector)

How does it work?

There are high-speed wireless Internet towers located near you. A small, wireless radio is installed on the side of your house, or the roof, which transmits and receives the Internet signals to and from our towers. From the radio on your house, a cable is run inside your house to a box (POE), near your computer.  The POE provides electrical power to the radio.  Included in our installation is a wire run to either one computer, a switch, or a router. You can use one of your own, or we can provide you one and configure it for you.

And since this isn't cable, you don't have to already be wired to start receiving high-speed Internet. If you are within range of one of our towers (barring no obvious obstructions, such as large hills or extremely heavy woods), there shouldn't be a problem installing this service in your home right away!

And if you purchased an additional phone line as a dedicated modem line, you can cancel it and save some money, because our wireless Internet service doesn't require a phone line.

And since this is a high-speed, broadband Internet connection, it is always on! No more waiting to dial up before using the Internet. Simply sit down at the computer and you are on the Internet! How great is THAT?
