  5. To read and write e-mail you may use virtually any mail client program, the most common programs being Microsoft Outlook (or Outlook Express), Mac Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, etc.

You can also use the GPN WebMail system which gives you access to your e-mail account via our website.  From any page on www.coool.ca click on the Web Mail Access link at the bottom page.

  6. To configure an e-mail client you will need the following information.

    Server Type: POP3
    Incoming Server: youre-maildomain.ca (port 110)
    Outgoing Server: youre-maildomain.ca (port 25 or 587)

IMPORTANT: "youre-maildomain" is the portion of your e-mail address after the @ symbol
this will be either gpnet.ca, coool.ca, or netnet.ca

Account name/User name: Your full e-mail address
    Password: Your e-mail password

  7. To make a non-GPN e-mail work on our system you have to change the outgoing mail server to "coool.ca"

  8. You can change your e-mail password within the Web Mail Access settings, or by filling out this password reset form.

  9. If your mailbox is full you need to logon to your Web Mail Access page, which is located at the bottom of every page on www.coool.ca, and delete your excess e-mail.  Be sure to check the deleted items folder, as e-mails can collect in there.  A good practice is to look for e-mails with large attachments, as one large attachment can take up more space than all your other e-mails combined.

  10. Our e-mail is able to send attachments up to 10 MB.  Keep in mind, however, that many e-mail providers put a 2 MB cap on attachments size.  So while you might be able to send an e-mail that large, whoever you are sending it to might not be able to receive it.

  11. Standard mailbox is 10 MB, which is able to hold easily over 1000 standard e-mails. Additional expanded mailbox to 50 MB is available for $5 per month, or unlimited for $10
